Welcome to the official website of the International Traditional Knowledge Institute, U.S. Division (ITKI US).

ITKI US was formed in 2011, by Annamaria and Giuseppe Biagini, with the support of the University of Arizona, the City of Tucson and Pima County, to further the scope of the ITKI initiatives in North America and around the world. ITKI US is an ITKI chapter, with international president Mrs. Elizabeth Nobrega de Araujo Tsakiroglou, and with president Pietro Laureano. The ITKI’s headquarters is in Florence.

The Creative Knowledge Foundation (CKF) supports the ITKIUS’ initiatives.
CKF is a non-profit organization founded in Tucson in 2017.

One of the ITKI’s projects, supported by the US chapter, is the the Traditional Knowledge World Bank (TKWB): a Web system platform designed for the dissemination and sharing of Traditional Knowledge while simultaneously paying respect to its origins. Discover more
